This is the permanent watchword for WMU or Woman's Missionary Union.
The WMU exists to serve one purpose: "to help the church carry out the mission
it has been given by God to reach the world."
Our next scheduled meeting is February 5th, 2012 at 3:00 PM, in the church
Fellowship Hall. There will be a mission focused devotional and prayer time for missionaries. All ladies are invited to attend WMU meetings. If you have
not been part of this women’s ministry in the past, consider attending.
WMU Emphasis Watchword for 2012 comes from the book of
Hebrews 12:1-2.
1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning
its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
