In May, IBC hosted our greatest VBS effort in many years, enrolling over 150 students and involving
more than 85 adultworkers!Ê Our Big Apple Adventure proved to be very successful as we
welcomed our community into our midst to share the love of Jesus, as well as a few hot dogs.
As is customary, the weather wasn`t perfect, especially that rain on Sunday, but the fellowship
could not have been more enjoyable, as our little ones learned about Jesus and His precious
message of salvation, and our adults
grew closer to Him through Bible study and prayer. Our adult class, a relatively recent
addition to VBS at IBC, enrolled a record breaking 10 students.
A good VBS requires a great deal of adult participation and the IBC family did not disappoint.
Thank you to each andevery person who contributed in any way, especially through your faithful
prayer support. We could not have done it without YOU! If you were unable to attend VBS 2011,
don`t worry because next year we will do it all again as we embark on a journey to the seven
natural wonders of the world with AMAZING WONDERS AVIATION: Encountering God`s Awesome Power!
Vacation Bible School theme for 2012
The motto for this VBS theme is, “Awesome God! Amazing Power!”
The VBS Scripture is Psalm 147:5 “Great is our Lord, and of great power: His understanding is infinite,”
If you were unable to attend VBS 2011, don’t worry because next year we will do it all
