CHRISTMAS 2011

"A 1940's CHRISTMAS Homecoming"
As Summer winds down and we look forward to a new Sunday School year, it is
almost time for choir practice to resume. During this year's choir season we will be
learning some new medleys of old favorites, combined in interesting ways that
we hope will be enjoyable as we gather in worship. Those of us who participate
in choir invite YOU to join us as we learn new musical selections and
fellowship togetheron Sunday afternoons before the evening service.
Beginning in September we will also begin working toward our Christmas
presentation, "A 1940's Christmas Homecoming," featuring a dramatic journey
back to the World War ll era, and a heartwarming story of love and sacrifice
that demonstrates the true meaning of Christmas, when God sent His son to
earth to provide for our salvation.
If you have never tried choir practice, you may not know how much fun you
are missing. Sometimes we spend more time laughing than we do singing.
Please come on out and join us in August!
